Condition Surveys
Commercial leases make onerous provisions for repair and maintenance of a building.
As the Lessee, you should arrange for a Schedule of Condition to be carried out before you sign a lease. This should form part of the legal documentation and confirm the condition of the building at the start of the lease. Our reports detail the property in both a written form and with photographs.
MMA Chartered Surveyors can also advise to what extent you will be liable for previous repairs and negotiate a suitable agreement with the Landlord or superior lessee.
